Artificial intelligence and automated processing

Equity Shelter may utilize artificial intelligence ("AI"), machine learning technologies, predictive analytics systems, automation technologies, and algorithmic decision-making tools in connection with the Services.

These technologies may be used to generate or assist with property descriptions, marketing materials, customer support communications, recommendations, market analysis, fraud detection, operational optimization, lead scoring, behavioral analysis, personalization, and other business functions.

Some communications or content may be partially or fully generated using AI-assisted systems. While we make commercially reasonable efforts to review and monitor AI-generated outputs, such content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information. Users should independently verify all information before relying upon it for financial, legal, investment, or real estate decisions.

We may also use automated technologies, including automated dialing systems, SMS platforms, AI-powered chat systems, and prerecorded voice systems, to communicate with users as permitted under applicable law.

Equity Shelter does not sell personal information for monetary compensation in the traditional sense. However, we may disclose personal information to third parties in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Please note that even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send transactional or service-related communications necessary to provide the Services or administer your account.

Data retention

Equity Shelter retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, provide Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, protect our interests, and maintain appropriate business and financial records.

When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may securely delete, anonymize, or de-identify the information.

The Services are not directed toward individuals under the age of eighteen (18), and Equity Shelter does not knowingly collect personal information from children under eighteen. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take commercially reasonable steps to delete such information promptly.

By providing your mobile telephone number and opting into SMS communications, you consent to receive text messages from Equity Shelter regarding appointments, property opportunities, investment opportunities, customer support matters, market updates, promotional offers, and other communications related to the Services.

Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates imposed by your wireless carrier may apply. Consent to receive SMS communications is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying "STOP" to any message received from us. For assistance, reply "HELP" or contact us directly. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Equity Shelter may share certain identifiers, device information, browsing activity, and behavioral information with advertising and analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes as permitted by law. California residents may opt out of such sharing. Equity Shelter does not knowingly sell personal information for monetary compensation.
